Caroline Kandiyero is a dynamic legal and business development expert with extensive experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and strategic business consulting. As the Director of Kandiyero Consultancy, she leads a firm dedicated to helping businesses navigate complex legal frameworks, enhance governance structures, and drive sustainable growth.

With a distinguished career in both legal advisory and corporate leadership, Caroline has held key positions such as Group Company Secretary at PGC Holdings, where she oversaw compliance, governance, and board advisory functions, and Group Legal Advisor & Information Officer at Workerslife Management Services, focusing on corporate law, contract negotiations, and risk mitigation.

Her expertise extends beyond legal compliance to business development and strategic expansion, helping companies align their operational strategies with regulatory frameworks while identifying opportunities for growth. She specializes in cross-border trade regulations, investment law, and financial services compliance, with a particular focus on Africa’s evolving economic landscape.

Caroline is currently pursuing a PhD in Mercantile Law at the University of Free State, with her research centered on “Harmonising the Regulation of Trade in Insurance Products under the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).” Her work explores policy alignment and regulatory integration to facilitate seamless insurance trade across African markets.

An admitted legal practitioner of the High Court of South Africa, Caroline also holds an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Johannesburg and multiple FSCA regulatory certifications in financial services.
